Creating a Design Option #

To create a building design:

Open Edit Desig
Click New

Choose a [SURAP LCA approach](English\Databases\SURAP LCA Approaches),
Name your design.

Optional Settings:

Choose a building option (see Autodesk® Revit design options),
Add a phase (e.g. construction, demolition),
Add a description in the notes.

Duplicating and Altering Design Options #

To duplicate, change a design, activate the design by checking the “active design” box first. Then you can duplicate the design (this will duplicate all assigned LCA datasets from the activated design to the duplicate) or change the settings descriped above. An activated design can not be deleted. To delete a design, deactivate it first.

Approach Filter #

The approach filter allows you to see the designs of the choosen [SURAP LCA approach](English\Databases\SURAP LCA Approaches).
